My name is Sophia but my friends often refer to me as tealady. Why? Because I have an unhealthy obsession with all things tea and can, on occasion, be a lady. I am 23, 24 this summer and I am currently studying a Psychology BSc degree at Middlesex University in London. I’m in my second year and have a long way to go yet. This year I have decided to commute from home in Nottingham opposed to living in London, because last year I found living there wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. And I’m too much of a born Country girl for the big City life. 

I’m predominately studying Psychology because I have an intense interest in how and why we work the way we do. I’m really enjoying my degree but I also do a lot of private reading on areas which interest me the most, such as deviant and anti-social behaviour, serial killers, etc. Ideally in a perfect World I would like to work in Forensic Psychology with high security prisoners. Realistically, I will probably end up (hopefully) teaching Psychology at A Level, as that’s where my interest began.

There’s a few things I love in life. As you already know, I adore tea and pretty much anything tea related. I think it is the answer to everything and ‘where there is tea, there is hope’. I also love tattoos, which is pretty evident as soon as you look at me. I have a fair amount of tattoo work and have the majority of my body planned out. I have a wonderful and very talented tattoo artist, Vicky Morgan. I also adore live music and festivals, Sonisphere and Download being the ones I venture to each year. I am utterly in love with books and reading and can always be found with my head stuck in a good book! I am addicted to Nando’s, have a love for owls and I am an avid Buffy The Vampire Slayer (and Angel) fan! I also love crafting when I have the time!

I adore time spent with friends and have learnt over the years that it isn’t the number of friends you have which count, but the type. And I have myself some pretty solid, decent and reliable friends whom I can enjoy myself with, confide in and make amazing memories with. I also have a lovely boyfriend, Martyn, who came into my life this year and who I adore spending time with. He’s pretty damn good if I’m honest and he makes me happy, so that’s never a bad thing.

I also run a couple of other blogs. The Old Fashioned Way is a blog I set up on Tumblr for people to advertise and find pen-pals. I’ve been amazed by the interest and I myself have gained a few pen-pals through it. I also run a Blogspot blog which is predominately a beauty blog.
